We welcome four new teams to the Top 50 — St. Xavier (Ohio) at #43, Paramus Catholic (New Jersey) at #47, Oxbridge Academy (Florida) at #49 and Maryville (Tennessee) at #50. St. X busts into the Top 50 after starting 0-2 with losses to St. John Bosco (California) and Colerain (Ohio), both are Top 10 teams right now.
Aside from St. X, the biggest climber this week is Denton Ryan (Texas), up five spots to #40.
Former #26 DeSoto (Texas) graduates to the Top 25, which moves Bergen Catholic (New Jersey) to the bubble. The Crusaders move-up a spot in-spite of dropping a heartbreaking two overtime loss to St. Joseph Regional (Montvale, New Jersey), ranked #21 in the nation this week.
Also continuing to inch toward the Top 25 — Clinton (Mississippi), up two spots to #27; Cass Tech (Michigan), also up two spots to #28; Union (Oklahoma), up four spots to #29; and Northwestern (South Carolina), which also climbed four spots to #30.
Florida’s Miami Central tumbles from #6 to #31 after its first loss of the season to Carol City (Florida).
