No surprise at the top of the High School Football America Nevada Top 10 preseason high school football rankings, powered by NFL Play Football.
Bishop Gorman, winners of 13 of the last 14 state titles in the state’s largest classification, is at the top. The Gaels, who are also No. 2 in our national rankings, open the season this week in Hawaii against three-time reigning Open Division champ Kahuku, ranked No. 30 in our preseason national rankings.
No. 2 Liberty won’t open until next Friday when it hosts Skyridge, ranked No. 123 in the HSFA 300. No. 3 Arbor View is also idle until it plays No. 40 Lincoln (San Diego, California) next Saturday.
No. 4 Bishop Manogue, coming off its first state championship last year, opens against Damonte Ranch. The game is the Las Vegas Raiders’ High School Football Showcase for Week 1.
