As we head into the postseason, it can be said that the 2022 regular season in Connecticut high school football was a balanced one. There really isn’t one team that can claim to be the best at this point in the season.
New Canaan finishes No. 1 in the High School Football America Connecticut Top 10, powered by NFL Play Football. The Rams will faces Naugatuck in the quarterfinal round of the Class L playoffs on Tuesday.

The Class L bracket also includes No. 3 St. Joseph (No. 1 seed), No. 5 Maloney (No. 3 seed) and No. 10 Shelton (No. 7 seed).
Our No. 2 Greenwich is the No. 2 seed in the Class LL bracket. No. 7 Southington was given the top-seed. No. 4 Fairfield Prep is the No. 5 seed and No. 9 Trumbull is the eighth seed.
