Maury closes out a perfect 2024 season with a 46-0 shutout of Briar Wood in the Virginia Class 5 high school football championship. The Commodores, ranked No. 171 in the High School Football America 300 national rankings, powered by NFL Play Football, finish a perfect 15-0 with six wins be shutout.

The win gives the school its second straight state championship and third overall. The Commodores will bring a 40 game win streak into 2025.

For the season, Maury outscored its opponents 826-95. The 826 points is the second most all-time in Virginia high school football history. Woodbridge holds the record with 952 points in 2022.
