Chaminade-Madonna is still in the High School Football America national championship conversation after rolling to its third straight Florida high school football championship Thursday in Tallahassee. No. 3 C-M routed No. 80 Clearwater Central Catholic in the Florida Class 1M title game at Ken Riley Field at Bragg Memorial Stadium on the campus of Florida A&M University.

Quarterback Cedrick Bailey, a NC State-recruit, closed-out his scholastic career completing 17-of-23 passes for 322 passing yards and 4 touchdowns.
Ohio State-recruit Jeremiah Smith caught 11 of Bailey’s completions for 170 receiving yards and one touchdown.
Chaminade-Madonna has now played in a state-record eight straight state championship games. The Lions own six overall high school football state titles.
