Venice, ranked No. 30 in the High School Football America Top 100, is the Florida 7A high school football champs after beating No. 89 Bartram Trail 37-24 Saturday.
The Indians, who finish 14-1, were led by senior quarterback Bryce Carpenter, who rushed for four touchdowns. The Indians only loss this year was to No. 2 IMG Academy in early October.
