Reigning Hawaii Open Division champ Kakuhu almost pulled-off the upset of the season late Friday night or early Saturday morning, depending where you live.
No. 4 St. Frances Academy scored 14 unanswered points to come-from-behind to beat the Red Raiders, ranked No. 82 in the High School Football America 100, powered by NFL Play Football. The Panthers trailed 15-7 with about eight minutes to play.
Michael Van Buren’s 5-yard touhdown pass to Kyree Benton with :39 second to play was the game-winner.
