Lakeland outscored Venice 60-48 Saturday night to win the 2023 Florida 4S high school football championship. It’s the second year in a row that the Dreadnaughts beat the Indians for the state title.
Lakeland (12-3) has won nine state titles, which is the most by any public school in Florida.
