No. 74 Saguaro wins 5th straight Arizona state title

Saguaro got one for the thumb Saturday, beating Salpointe Catholic 28-7 for the school’s fifth straight Arizona high school football championship.

Senior quarterback Max Massingale led the way for the Sabercats with two touchdown passes and running for two.  Massingale was 13 of 18 for 231 yards.

Saguaro, ranked No. 74 in the latest High School Football America Top 100, finishes 12-2 with both losses coming against out-of-state opponents East (Utah) and Liberty (Nevada), both of whom are ranked in our national rankings.
