Oak Grove rolled by Grand Lake 33-7 on Monday for the Tigers’ second straight Louisiana 1A state championship. It’s the sixth overall state football title for Oak Grove.
The Tigers used a powerful ground game in the victory. Ron Craten, the team’s MVP, ran for 191 of the team’s 366 yards on the ground. Craten scored two touchdowns.

Oak Grove finishes 11-1, while Grand Lake wraps-up its season with an 8-2 mark.
