Parkland High School has replaced one state championship-winning coach with another as Tim Moncman takes over for the recently retired Jim Morgans.  Moncman, who served as Parkland’s defensive coordinator last year, led Liberty to the 2008 Pennsylvania Class 4A title.  In addition to the state title in ’08, Moncman led the Hurricanes to runner-up finishes in 2005 and 2006.

Parkland, who spent some time in High School Football America’s Top 50 last season, finished 14-2, losing to nationally-ranked Pittsburgh Central Catholic in the 4A title game.
