The Knights sit at No. 10 after handing Central Bucks South its first loss of the year in the District 1 6A semifinals. The 21-19 win avenged CB South’s 14-6 over NP during the regular season.
Up next for North Penn is No. 17 Downingtown South in the District 1 6A championship game.
Top-ranked St. Joseph’s Prep took a big step toward its third straight 6A championship with a 42-0 shutout of No. 3 Imhotep Charter, the 2023 Class 5A champ. Next up for the Hawks is No. 25 Parkland in the state quarterfinals.
On the other side of the 6A bracket, No. 7 Pittsburgh Central Catholic, fresh off its WPIAL championship, plays No. 15 State College. In the other game, No. 9 Harrisburg squares-off with No. 19 Wilson (West Lawn) in the District 3 championship.
There are two Top 25 head-to-head games in Class 5A — No. 18 West Chester Rustin plays No. 25 Springfield (Delco) and No. 6 Pine-Richland squares-off with No. 13 Peters Township for the WPIAL championship.
