Auburn verbal commit Bo Nix closed out his high school career on the field where he’ll begin is collegiate career next year. Nix He completed 25-of-35 passes for 306 yards and two touchdowns, while running 15 times for 66 yards a touchdown as Pinson Valley beat Saraland 26-17 for the Indians second straight Alabama Class 6A state football championship at Auburn’s Jordan-Hare Stadium.

Nix finishes career as the only player in Alabama high school football history to account for more than 12,000 yards in total offense. He also had a hand in 161 touchdowns, which is a new state record.
