The first weekend in October will mark the start of the 2020 high school football season in Louisiana. Earlier this week, the Louisiana High School Athletic Association announced there will be an eight-game regular season starting in October.

On the High School Football America Podcast, Catholic (Baton Rouge) head football coach Gabe Fertitta talks about the return of football during the coronavirus pandemic, plus the upcoming season for the Bears. In three years as Catholic’s head coach, Fertitta has won one state title and had two runner-up finishes.
