Monday night, the Florida High School Athletic Association approved a plan that allows Fall high school football camps to open on Monday. Almost immediately after the FHSAA approval, school districts around the state started voicing their displeasure with it. Most of them have been announcing that they won’t be opening on Monday.

To sort through the confusion in Florida, I called-up FloridaHSFootball.com founder Josh Wilson to find-out what is going on across the state and what Thursday night’s special meeting is about.

During tonight’s meeting, the FHSAA Board of Directors is expected to review the Sports Medicine Advisory Committee’s recommendation to delay the start of the high school football season.
