Now that we’re a month beyond when we were scheduled to release the Preseason High School Football America 100 powered by BlackMP Living Water (July 29), it’s time for an update.
Actually, it’s not much of an update, because of all of the uncertainty hanging over the 2020 high school football season. As most of you know, our national rankings are created with our proprietary algorithm that, for preseason purposes, relies on Strength of Schedule.

Many teams are still scrambling to get their schedules together as the length of their regular season evolves. Because we don’t have a clear picture on every team’s schedule, we’re keeping the preseason rankings on the sideline.
Our goal is still to produce a Preseason Top 100, but right now, we’re still probably going to need another several to do so.

August 10 is the date we are shooting for at this point, but like everything else during the coronavirus pandemic, we’ll quote REO Speedwagon and say we’re rolling with the changes.
