Rifle used a strong running attack to edge The Classical Academy 35-34 to capture Colorado’s Spring 2021 Class 3A high school football state championship. It was the Bears first state title since 2004.
“We took care of the ball and we finished drives,” said 1st year head coach Todd Casebier. “That’s what you have to do if you’re going to be a state champ.”
Rifle finishes 7-2. TCA finishes 6-1.
