The powerful Robinson High School girls’ flag football program is celebrating its first-ever Tampa Bay Buccaneers She Is Football champ. The Knights, who have won eight straight Florida state championships, beat Lenndard 21-14 in the championship game that capped the two-day tournament featuring eight teams from the surrounding area.

The Ravens soared past the Green Devils with a high-powered offensive performance to start of the She Is Football Flag Football Tournament led by quarterbacks Gabby Werr and Raya Deane. Werr went 16-of-22 for 305 yards and six touchdowns, while Deane added 34 passing yards and a touchdown along with a rushing score. Alyssa Trapani and Jewels Gambino each caught two touchdowns, with Trapani hauling in four passes for 85 yards and Gambino grabbing four passes for 100 yards. On defense, Shea Plantz led the Ravens with three interceptions, while Gigi Gambino and Lauren Shell each contributed a sack to stifle St. Petersburg’s offense.
Steinbrenner (Lutz) 31, Newsome (Lithia) 12
The Warriors took control early behind quarterback KK Ramsey, who went 13-of-19 passing for 197 yards and three touchdowns while adding 96 rushing yards and two scores. Megan Medina contributed with 13 passing yards and a touchdown reception, while Berkley Demeter hauled in four passes for 113 yards and two touchdowns. On defense, Olivia D’Elia recorded an interception, and Kathryn Williams had a sack.
For the Wolves, quarterback Sadie Avery went 12-of-32 passing for 150 yards and two touchdowns, with Katelyn Wagner catching three passes for 65 yards and a touchdown. Julia Szucs added 30 yards and a score. Hannah Bingaman led the defense with an interception.

The Ravens soared over the Warriors in the third-place game of the She Is Football Flag Football Tournament with a balanced attack, as Alonso used sharp passing from Gabby Werr and strong defensive play to earn the victory. Werr completed 23-of-34 passes for 289 yards and four touchdowns, finding key targets like Natalie Fischer, who recorded 100 receiving yards and a touchdown, and Shea Plantz, who added two touchdown receptions. On defense, Maja Rowe led with nine flag pulls, while Plantz also contributed an interception. For Steinbrenner, KK Ramsey kept the offense moving with 219 passing yards, two touchdowns, and a rushing score, but the Warriors could not close the gap.
