Top-ranked Male will try to send a message to two-time defending 6A champ Trinity Friday night when the Bulldogs host the Shamrocks. These two have combined to win the last six state titles in the state’s largest classification with Trinity winning four and Male winning two.
Male enters the contest a perfect 3-0, while Trinity is winless (0-3) after playing one of the toughest schedules in the nation. All three losses have come against out-of-state teams that are ranked in the High School Football America 100 national rankings powered by NFL Play Football.
As far as the latest High School Football America Kentucky Top 10, the only change this week is at No. 4 and No. 5 where Owensburg and Highlands flip-flop positions. Highlands dropped one spot after losing its first game of the year, losing to unbeaten Archbishop McNichols of Ohio.
