Simley came-back in the fourth quarter against Hutchinson to win the state’s AAAA title, the first for the school. The Spartans scored 14 points in a 2 minute, 38 second span midway in the fourth in the Spartans 34-24 win.
Hutchinson entered the game at U.S. Bank Stadium, home of the Minnesota Vikings, as the state’s defending AAAA champ.
