Steelton-Highspire closed-out 2022 on Thursday with a 22-8 win over Union (12-4) to win the school’s second Pennsylvania 1A championship in three years. It’s the Rollers fourth overall state title.
Junior running back Ronald Burnette scored three touchdowns while rushing for 126 yards.

Steelton-Highspire (14-1) is now a perfect 4-0 in state championship games. Union was playing in its first state title game.
