It should come as no surprise that IMG Academy (Bradenton, Florida), which is able to recruit players nationally, is loaded with junior talent. In the latest 247Sports.com Composite Rankings, the Ascenders have seven players in the Class of 2024 in the Top 100.

At the top of the list is cornerback Desmond Ricks, the overall No. 1 in the composite rankings. The 5-star corner owns 37 college scholarship offers.

Defending High School Football America national champ Mater Dei is loaded with plenty of junior talent, led by quarterback Elijah Brown, who is No. 45 on the current list. Brown, who started as a freshman, has never lost a high school game.

According to his MaxPreps stats, Brown has thrown for 45 touchdowns in just 17 games. Remember, that number is kept down by the fact that he only played five games as a freshman, because California moved the 2020 season into the Spring 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
