For the first time since 2011, Southlake Carroll is in the Texas high school football state semifinals. On Saturday, the Dragons, ranked No. 29 in the High School Football America 100 national rankings powered by BlackMP Living Water, whipped No. 103 Euless Trinity 59-35 in the Class 6A Division I, the state’s largest football classification.
Junior Ohio State-recruit Quinn Ewers, who is two weeks back from sports hernia surgery that had sidelined him in mid-October, had a career high 450 passing yards with six touchdowns in the victory.
Less than a minute later, Southlake Carroll responds. Quinn Ewers finds Minnesota signee Brady Boyd multiple times on the drive, including this TD pass. Second TD of the day for Boyd and third of the day for Ewers.
