For the first time ever, Raymore-Peculiar is a Missouri Class 6 champ. The Panthers surprised defending state champ De Smet 23-0 to capture the 2020 state title.

De Smet entered the contest ranked No. 40 in the High School Football America 100 powered by BlackMP Living Water.

Ray-Pec’s previous state titles came in Class 5.
