High School Football America will release its preseason Top 25 on Friday, but earlier this week, the granddaddy of them all, the USA Today Super 25, came out.
Nevada’s Bishop Gorman gets the preseason nod from Jim Halley and the USA Today team. The Gaels only two losses last year were to eventual USA Today’s national champ Booker T. Washington from Florida and Arizona state champ Mountain Pointe.
Last year, Bishop Gorman finished #23 in our final poll.
The Allen Eagles have spent the last two years as our “mythical” national champ, winning it outright last year and sharing the title in 2012 with John Curtis from Louisiana.
