Reigning 4A champ Desert Hills is off to a 1-0 start in 2022. The Thunder, ranked No. 10 in the High School Football America Utah Top 10, powered by NFL Play Football, opened with a 28-21 win over Brighton Thursday night. It was the only high school football game in the state that is opening the 2022 this weekend.

After a 90-minute weather delay, Desert Hills started rolling by scoring on four of its first five possessions.
