For the second year in a row, Westbook is the Texas Class 1A Division I state champ. Wednesday. The Wildcats handed Abbott its in its first loss of the year with a 69-24 defeat at AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys, for the 6-man state title.
Cedric Ware had an outstanding game on both sides of the ball, winning both the offensive and defensive MVP awards.
#4 Cedric Ware (Westbrook) earned both the Championship Game Defensive MVP Championship Game Offensive MVP with 176 all-purpose yards, and 5 total TD. On defense he had 10 tackles and 1 TFL to garner both offensive and defensive honor.
