The National Football Foundation (NFF) & College Hall of Fame announced today the 2025 College Football Hall of Fame Class of 2025. Eighteen First Team All-America players and four coaches will be inducted during the 67th NFF Annual Awards Dinner in Las Vegas on December 9.

Below is where every honoree played and coached high school football.

PLAYERS:

Montee Ball, RB- Timberland HS (Missouri)

College – Wisconsin (2009-12)

During his three-year high school career, Ball rushed for 8,222 yards with 107 touchdowns. He averaged 8.26 yards per carry.

Gregg Carr, LB – Woodlawn HS (Alabama)

College – Auburn (1981-84)

Blake Elliott, WR – Melrose HS (Minnesota)

College – Saint John’s University (2000-03)

Greg Eslinger, C – Bismarck HS (North Dakota)

College – Minnesota (2002-05)

Terry Hanratty, QB – Butler HS (Pennsylvania)

College – Notre Dame (1966-68)

Graham Harrell, QB – Ennis HS (Texas)

College – Texas Tech (2005-08) – Texas Tech University 

John Henderson, DT – Pearl-Cohn HS (Tennessee)

College – Tennessee – (1999-2001) – University of Tennessee

Henderson helped lead Pearl-Cohn to state championships during his junior and senior seasons. He had 32 sacks as a senior and 15 as a junior.

Michael Huff, DB – Irving Nimitz HS (Texas)

College – Texas (2002-05)

Huff’s No. 23 was retired and he was inducted into the Irving Independent School District’s Hall of Fame in 2013.

Jim Kleinsasser, TE – Carrington (North Dakota

College – North Dakota (1995-98)

Alex Mack, OL – San Marcos (Santa Barbara, California)

College – Cal (2005-08)

Terrence Metcalf, OL – Clarksdale HS (Mississippi)

College – Mississippi (1997, 1999-2001)

Metcalf was a Parade All-American after his senior season.

Haloti Ngata, DT – Highland (Utah)

College – Oregon (2002, 2004-05) 

Steve Slaton, RB – Conwell-Egan HS (Pennsylvania)

College – West Virginia (2005-07)

Darrin Smith, LB – Norland (Florida)

College – Miami-Florida (1989-92)

Michael Strahan, DL – Westbury HS (Texas)

College – Texas Southern (1989-92)

Strahan’s high school football career began in Germany at Mannheim American High School. His father, who was in the military sent him to Texas to live with his uncle and to play football at Westbury High School.

Dennis Thurman, DB – Santa Monica Hs (California)

College – USC (1974-77)

Thurman played quarterback and defensive back at Santa Monica. He was part of three CIF Southern Section Division I championship teams that were 39-1-1.

Michael Vick, QB – Warwick HS (Virginia)

College – Virginia Tech (1999-2000)

As a three-year starter, Vick passed for 4,846 yards with 43 touchdowns and ran for 1,048 yards and 18 touchdowns.

Ryan Yarborough, WR – Rich East HS (Illinois)

College – Wyoming (1990-93) – University of Wyoming 

COACHES:

Larry Blakeney – Gordo HS (Alabama)

College Head Coaching Record: 178-113-1 (61.1%) at Troy University in Alabama from 1991-2014

Blakeney was the head coach at three Alabama high schools — Southern Academy, Walker HS and Vestavia Hills HS. His all-time high school record is 50-24-2.

Larry Korver – Maurice-Orange City HS (Iowa)

College Head Coaching Record: 212-77-6 (72.9%) at Northwestern College from 1967-94 in Iowa

His first head coaching job was a Luverne HS in Minnesota where his record was 21-20-1. He was an assistant at Walnut Grove HS in Minnesota and Maurice-Orange City HS in Iowa.

Urban Meyer – St. John School (Ashtabula,Ohio)

Meyer only spent one year as a high school football coach. He was a defensive backs coach at St. Xavier in Cincinnati in 1985.

College Head Coaching Record: 187-32-0 (85.4%): Bowling Green State University (2001-02): University of Utah (2003-04); University of Florida (2005-10); Ohio State University (2012-18)

Nick Saban – Monongah HS (West Virginia)

College Head Coaching Record: 292-71-1 (80.4%): University of Toledo (1990); Michigan State University (1995-99); LSU (2000-04); University of Alabama (2007-23)

Saban has never coached in high school.
