Who did well at 2025 ‘Under Armour Next’ Football Camp in Miami

Sunday, the 2025 Under Armour Next Football Camp Series continued at Ives Estates Park in Miami, Florida where the region’s best high school football players had the opportunity to hone their on-field skills and earn a coveted bid to the 2026 Under Armour Next All-America Game. 

Each player took part in a series of optional athletic measurement stations, then competed in individual and head-to-head drills against other top athletes at their respective positions. 

At the completion of the camp, three athletes from the Class of 2026 received an invitation to the 2026 Under Armour Next All-America Game:

  • QB Dia Bell – American Heritage (Plantation, Florida)
  • LB DQ Forkpa – IMG Academy (Florida)
  • WR Calvin Russell – Northwestern (Miami, Florida)

Four players from the Class of 2026 that participated in the 2025 Under Armour Next All-America Game were also recognized at the camp:

  • LB Jordan Campbell – Carol City (Florida)
  • RB Derrek Cooper – Chaminade-Madonna (Florida)
  • QB Will Griffin – Jesuit (Florida)
  • DL Jake Kreul – IMG Academy (Florida)

 The following players earned positional MVP honors for their performances at Sunday’s camp:

Defensive Line MVP

Chase Goodrich (2027) – St. Thomas Aquinas (Florida)

Offensive Line MVP

Elias Sturman (2026) – IMG Academy (Florida)

Running Back MVP

Javian Mallory (2026) – West Boca Raton (Florida)

Linebacker MVP

Shane Rochelle (2026) – Northwestern (Miami, Florida)

Quarterback MVP

Dereon Coleman (2026) – Jones (Orlando, Florida)

Wide Receiver MVP

Jeffar Jean-Noel (2026) – American Heritage (Plantation, Florida)

Defensive Back MVP

Brody Jennings (2026) – Mandarin (Florida)

The Under Armour Next Football Camp Series, created in partnership with Intersport and 3STEP Sports, stresses the importance of skill development above all else, and focuses on various athletic measurements including the 40-yard dash, pro agility and the vertical jump.
