The answer to the above headline is — maybe.
The question started on Friday with Eric Thomas’s tweet.
So got official word from @GoPSUsports that they are hopeful of having a HS football game at Beaver Stadium this season. I know of three team that submitted games (not naming those teams or games just yet) but keep and eye on this

That report led to the following statement from the university.
“Penn State Athletics wishes to provide an opportunity for one Pennsylvania high school football game to be played in Beaver Stadium this fall. We are working with the appropriate officials regarding the details.”

Then at Saturday’s Penn State Media Day, head coach James Franklin said he’d like to see Beaver Stadium host the state championship games one day. The state championship games are currently played at HersheyPark Stadium in Hershey.

While no teams have been announced for the possible game at the 107,000 seat stadium, the local Little Lions of State College High School would seem to make sense.
