Until earlier this week, Xaverian Brothers High School, the 2014 Division 1 Super Bowl champs, featured two players with NFL ties – cornerback Coby Tippett, son of Hall of Fame linebacker Andre Tippett and D’Aundre Holmes-Wilfork, stepson of Pro Bowler Vince Wilfork, who recently signed a free agent contract with the Houston Texans.

According to the Boston Herald, Wilfork’s move from the New England Patriots to the Texans means that his D’Aundre is also moving.  The younger Wilfork, who is a linebacker, is transferring to Friendswood High School in Friendswood, Texas for his senior season.

Coby Tippett, who plays cornerback and wide receiver, returns to Xaverian for his senior season looking to lead his school to back-to-back state titles.
