Zeeland West wins its first Michigan high school football championship since 2015 with a 42-22 win over Martin Luther King in the Division 3 title game at Ford Field, home of the Detroit Lions. Detroit MLK entered the game ranked No. 250 in the High School Football America 300 national rankings, powered by NFL Play Football.

Keaton Hendricks set a Michigan High School Athletic Association Football Finals record with six touchdowns. He scored three touchdowns rushing with 129 yards on the ground. The other three scores were receiving on three catches for 25-yards.

The state championships is the fifth overall for the Dux.
