Practice in Louisiana for the 2019 high school football season begins on August 12. The regular season kicks-off September 5.
It should be a great season with three Louisiana teams in the High School Football America Preseason 100 — No. 20 John Curtis, No. 51 Edna Karr and No. 65 Warren Easton. Just outside the Top 100 is Zachary at No. 117. Four other teams — Archbishop Rummel, Catholic (Baton Rouge), University Lab (Baton Rouge) and West Monroe — are on our Honorable Mention list.
