With the Early Signing Period right around the corner, Carrollton (Georgia) quarterback Julian “JuJu” Lewis is changing his verbal commitment. Thursday, the 4-star quarterback of the No. 9 team in the High School Football America 300 national rankings, powered by NFL Pay Football, said he’s heading to Colorado, instead of USC.

Lewis gave his original verbal to USC back in August 2023. Currently, Lewis is ranked as the sixth best QB in the Class of 2025 in 247Sports Composite Rankings.

During the offseason, Lewis made news when he reclassified from the Class of 2026.

Currently, according to stats on MaxPreps, Lewis has completed 200-of-257 passes for 2,842 yards with 40 touchdowns against four interceptions.

Heading into Friday night’s 6A second round playoff games against No. 132, Lewis had thrown for 10,054 yards while completing 69-percent of his during his career. He’s tossed 115 touchdowns against only 18 picks.

This year’s early signing period runs from December 4-6.
