Corona Centennial (California) is the biggest mover in the latest High School Football America Top 25 Media Compilation Poll.  The Huskies, who rose in all four polls used created the pool, climbed five positions to #12 this week.

Corona Centennial’s only loss in a 3-1 start was against #2 IMG Academy (Florida).  This week, the Huskies face Liberty, the #3 team in the High School Football America Mountain Region Top 10.

Cass Tech (Michigan), Mountain Pointe (Arizona) and St. Joseph’s Prep (Pennsylvania) all climbed three spots this week.  Mountain Pointe is ranked #11, St. Joe’s checks-in at #17 and Cass Tech is #18 this week.

The top four teams, led by #1 Bishop Gorman, all held their positions from last week with Allen (Texas) and Roswell (Georgia) flip-flopping positions to #5 and #6 respectively.  New to the Top 10 this week are St. John’s College High School (Washington, D.C.) at #9 and Colerain (Ohio) at #10.

New to the media poll this week is Arizona’s Saguaro at #24.  The Sabercats, ranked #1 in the High School Football America Arizona Top 10, is tied at #24 with Cedar Hill from Texas.

Our media compilation poll includes the USA TODAY Super 25, MaxPreps’ Xcellent 25 and PrepNation’s National Prep Poll.  The poll awards points to a team on the basis of its ranking in each poll. For example, the #1 team receives 25 points, the #2 team receives 24 points and so forth.
