A lot of eyes will be on the State of Utah this weekend as the 2020 high school football season opens as planned during the coronavirus pandemic. The first game will be played Thursday night when Davis High School travels to Herriman.
According to the Deseret News, attendance will be capped at about 25-percent of capacity, which means about 950 fans will be on-hand. The rest can watch the game on KUTV or online.

Friday night there will be 50 games across the state. There would have been 51, but the game between Bingham and Weber has been canceled, because of positive COVID-19 tests on the Bingham team.
