The Lansing Catholic defense was very strong on Friday, forcing five turnovers in the Division 6 Michigan High School Athletic Association state championship game. When time expired, LC beat Warren Michigan Collegiate 16-6 at Ford Field, home of the National Football League‘s Detroit Lions.
The state title is the third for Lansing Catholic (13-1), and second in three years. The Cougars won the Division 5 in 2019.
