Opelika moves into the latest High School Football America Alabama Top 10 high school football rankings, powered by NFL Play Football. The Bulldogs are ranked No. 7 after a 30-13 win over former No. 7 Enterprise.
This week, Opelika hosts No. 4 Central (Phenix City) in the ultra-competitive 7A Region 2. Opelika and Central are one game behind Auburn, which leads the region with a perfect 5-0 record.
The 7A Region 3 championship will be on-the-line when No. 10 Hoover travels to No. 5 Thompson Friday in Alabaster.
