North Little Rock solidified is hold on the No. 1 ranking in the High School Football America Arkansas Top 10 with its 35-14 win over former No. 2 Conway Friday. In the offing for the Charging Wildcats are three big games against ranked opponents — No. 7 Catholic (October 11), No. 9 Northside (October 19) and No. 3 Bryant (October 26).
Fayetteville, which rebounded from its 31-28 loss two weeks ago to Bentonville West by beating Rogers, is up to No. 2 this week. Bentonville West, despite its sub-.500 record breaks into the state rankings at No. 10 after beating former No. 5 Springdale.
