Belleville beats Adams for Michigan Division 1 title in a battle of nationally-ranked teams

Belleville is celebrating its first-ever Michigan high school football championship after beating Adams 55-33 for the Division 1 title Saturday at Ford Field, home of the Detroit Lions.

Freshman quarterback Bryce Underwood passed for 284 yards and five touchdowns with no interceptions in the win for the Tigers, who entered the game ranked No. 190 in the High School Football America national rankings, powered by NFL Play Football. Adams entered the game unbeaten and ranked No. 185 in our Top 200.

Underwood was also the Tigers leading rusher with 62-yards and a touchdown.
