Seton Hall Prep’s surprising overtime upset of former No. 1 St. Peter’s Prep ended the Marauders dreams of a national championship. However, SPP doesn’t have much time to dwell on the loss, because the top spot in the state is up for grabs this weekend when they travel to No. 3 Bergen Catholic.
Seton Hall’s upset win moves the Pirates into the Top 25 at No. 11. Joining Seton Hall in the statewide rankings is West Orange at No. 17 after knocking-off Clifton.
