Pomona continues to climb the High School Football America Colorado High School Football Top 10. The Panthers move two spots to No. 6 after knocking-off former No. 4 Columbine 34-33. It was the second straight one-point loss for the Rebels who fall to No. 7.
Pomona, which got off to a 1-3 start, can claim the 5A Metro West championship Friday night when it faces No. 3 and unbeaten Ralston Valley.
No. 1 Cherry Creek can wrap-up the 5A Metro East if it beats No. 8 Grandview.
