What a crazy week is was on the field and off the field in the High School Football America Louisiana Top 10, powered by NFL Play Football.
On the field, Edna Karr is our new No. 1 after Woodlawn of Baton Rouge shocked top-ranked Catholic of Baton Rouge 35-28. Woodlawn entered the game 3-4.
In addition to falling to No. 3 in the state, the Bears fell from No. 21 in the High School Football America 100 national rankings to No. 58.
Off the field, Brother Martin is appealing the Louisiana High School Athletic Association’s decision that the Crusaders forfeit their first five wins because of using an academically-ineligible player. If the appeal is denied, Brother Martin would fall from 7-0 to 2-5, plus drop from its No. 56 national ranking.
