IMG Academy leads the first in-season High School Football America Florida Top 25. The Ascenders are one of thirteen teams from the Sunshine State ranked in the High School Football America 100 national rankings.
There are several national matchups on this weekend’s schedule, plus head-to-head Top 25 games that will shape next week’s rankings that are created with our proprietary algorithm.

The big in-state game will feature No. 3 Northwestern squaring-off against No. 4 Carol City in its annual Miami showdown. Northwestern is ranked No. 13 in our national rankings, while Carol City checks-in at No. 15.
In another Miami battle, No. 7 Miami Central takes-on No. 21 Booker T. Washington. The Rockets are coming-off a loss to nationally-ranked St. Frances Academy (Maryland).
No. 2 St. Thomas Aquinas, ranked No. 9 in the HSFA 100, hosted Bergen Catholic (New Jersey), ranked No. 18 in the nation.
