Even though two teams in the High School Football America Kansas Top 5 lost last weekend, there are no changes in the latest statewide rankings.
No. 2 Mill Valley, the state’s defending 6A champs, lost a hard-fought 35-28 decision to Arkansas-power Bentonville. No. 3 St. Thomas Aquinas beat defending 5A champ Bishop Miege 41-35 behind running back Tank Young, who ran for 232 yards with four touchdowns. Miege stays No. 4 in the latest rankings.
