Top-ranked South Pointe will get a couple of solid out-of-state tests over the next two weeks. The Stallions will play Georgia’s Buford this week and four-time defending state champs Shelby from North Carolina next week.
South Pointe enters the game ranked No. 10 in the latest High School Football America Top 100, while Buford is No. 67. Buford has won 11 overall Georgia state championships.
