It’s time to set the 2021 Iowa high school football championships. Vying for a berth in the Class 5A state championship are the No. 1 and No. 2 teams in the High School Football America Iowa Top 10 powered by NFL Play Football.
No. 1 Southeast Polk will square-off against No. 2 Iowa City in one state semifinal at the UNI-Dome at the University of Northern Iowa. The winner will get the winner of the other semi between No. 3 Ankeny and No. 4 West Des Moines Valley.
On October 1, Valley beat Ankeny, the state’s defending 4A champ, 38-35.
