Jayton beat Oakwood 54-8 Wednesday afternoon at AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys, to win the 2024 University Interscholastic League’s Class 1A 6-Man Division II state title. It’s the Jaybirds first state championship in 39 years.
