On the strength of its Division I state championship 49-7 win against defending state champ Catholic (Baton Rouge), John Curtis finishes 2018 as the No. 1 team in the High School Football America Louisiana Top 10 that is created with our proprietary algorithm.
The Patriots, who captured their 27th overall football championship, climbed over two-time Division II champ University Lab (Baton Rouge). U-High had held the No. 1 spot since the release of our Preseason Top 10. The state championship also helped JC moved up to No. 25 in the High School Football America 100 national rankings.
