Kahuku beat Punahou 41-28 Saturday night in a showdown between two teams that received honorable mention in the High School Football America preseason national rankings. Kahuku entered the game ranked No. 2 in our Hawaii Top 5, while Punahou (0-1) was ranked No. 3.
Kahuku ran off 27 consecutive points to capture the team’s second straight victory to open the 2018 season. According to ScoringLive.com, the Red Raiders used a strong rushing attacked that amassing 333 yards.
